How to Get Started
Find the Nearest Chapter You need to first determine what chapter you would like to begin to attend. Don't worry; you can go to most any chapter with the same character, but you need to determine a home chapter, you can find our Chapter Locations on our

Welcome to Avalon, the greatest Live Action Role-playing Game in the world. This page will help guide you through the New Players section of this website and will help you organize and get to your first event.
Create a Character
To participate in an Avalon function you must have a character created, ready to play. This includes costuming and weapons. This information can be found on the Making an Avalon Character page.
Register
Because Avalon is a high intensity gaming event, you need to fill out and turn in several forms, including a BSA Venture Scout form. This information and these forms can be found on the Registration page.
Event Tips
Check out the Event Tips page. This is a summary of many things that you might want to think about before coming to your first event including weather preparation and costume advice.
Event Checklist
This Event Checklist has been compiled from years of experience of forgetting things. Feel free to put together your own event checklist, using this one as a base, to help you remember everything that you need.
After looking through all of these pages, you should be quite ready to attend an event. Make sure to contact your chapter's staff if you have any questions about anything. They are there to help you!
